Baked Goods

A selection of bakery favourites

Bread

I bake bread every wednesday evening and it's the cornerstone of my week. You can order from me for a late night local delivery hot from the oven or an early morning collection on the way to work. We like to offer three regular options - pillowy soft white with poppy seeds, Malted granary with oats and a wholemeal ancient grain with mixed seeds. A standard loaf is a small but perfectly formed 300g and costs just £2.

Scones

I make scones fresh at least twice a week. My personal favourite are plain but i most often make fruit scones with deeply squidgy sultanas. You can order from me in batches of 6 or more, don't worry  they freeze and defrost perfectly. Each cost £1 so a batch would be the princely sum of £6

Tarts

I make mini tartlets to order in batches of 6 or more, our favourite flavour combination is caramelised red onion and cheddar but they can be changed according to season, celebration and personal taste. I have previously made leek and caerphilly for a St David's day celebration and wild garlic with taleggio for a special woodland picnic. The choice is yours. A baseline price per tart is £2.50.

Cakes

I remember Nigel Slater saying his father was a different man when there was a cake in the house and could not think of a better way of expressing how much of a treat it is to have a home made cake to take home and enjoy with family, friends or solo. My favourite flavours are pictured below - Cherry and almond, Strawberries and cream, Carrot and Chocolate orange; but i do have a soft spot for Biscoff and there is always room for a little lemon or lime number with zingy curd. but i'm happy to make a myriad of other options. The baseline price skirts around £16-20 depending on ingredients.

Traybake Mini Bites

I can make a 35 portion mini bite traybake in the same flavour as any of the cakes. Each morsel is perfect for an event where you want small, sweet nibbles that can be eaten with ease, perhaps whilst standing and chatting with a beverage. I made a a stack of these beauties for our local coffee roastery when they held their open day. They were so well received and the flavours they chose married so well to their brazilian beans.

Each traybake is divided into a grid of 35 and comes ready to serve in its own cake box and costs £25

Quiche

A large quiche can be ordered with whatever flavour combination you fancy.  One gentleman even brought me a bag of leeks from his vegetable garden to include. Again, a huge shout out for cheddar and caramelised red onion, its a reliably delicious and well loved choice, but i also love the fior di latte mozzarella and roasted med veg  combo. Perfect for a summer evening alongside cheshire new potatoes and salad leaves. There are no minimum orders and each one has a baseline cost of £16.
